Last Week

Ok people, I know I'm crazy (only the best are though right? ;-) ...but I don't know if I want to go private anymore. I wanted to be able to write more personal things (yes, even more personal than I write about on here) on my blog and that is why I wanted to go private, but I decided the super personal things will just go into my journal. :-)

Moving on..

Last week I worked at Interactive Intelligence's user conference. It was so fun and I learned so much! I love all the people that work at InIn and I especially loved hanging out with my dad when I could. (he was really busy.) It was fun to see him in action - speaking in front of 700 people and actin like a rockstar etc.

(the arizona sun will do me good this summer haha)

Random thought of the day: I have always been a little..ok a lot jealous of Kate Middleton getting to be a princess. This past week changed my mind though. It takes quite a dedicated person to hold that kind of role. I know this may sound funny, weird, or whatever but I feel like I got a teensy tiny itty bitty one one-millionth piece of what she goes through. At the conference I was representing my daddy. It didn't make me act totally different, but honestly I had to hold back, not be so goofy and playful, and be more proper than I'm usually used to being. I think I met about a billion people and I had to act like I was as excited to meet them as they were to meet me. (not that I wasn't or anything..cough cough.) I would introduce myself as "Kenzi" but people who were with me made sure to say this is Kenzi Staples-Joe's daughter (in one of those voices.) The people then seemed to get a little bit nicer. Imagine that? All of the people that work for my dad sucked up to me all week, which wasn't so bad, ha ha, but it was definitely different than what I'm used to. Don't get me wrong, I loved last week. I absolutely loved all the people I worked with and I'm grateful for the opportunity I had to work at the conference it just made me realize I wouldn't like having to be a real princess. The end.
