May 28th, 2015
May 28th, 2015 was by far the best day of my life. I got to be sealed in the Salt Lake Temple to the man of my dreams for time and all eternity. How grateful I am to a loving Father in Heaven and His plan for that opportunity. Our sealing was at 11am. We had to be at the temple at 9:30. My best friend since 7th grade, Kumi came over and did my makeup in the morning. A girl from the salon I go to came and did my hair. I wasn't nervous at all. Just so ready. The ceremony was so special. It was so wonderful to have all of our loved ones in one room witnessing this amazing and important event. My favorite part about the whole day was at the ceremony Talmage stared at me the whole time, with a huge smile on his face. He wouldn't take his eyes off of me. It was perfect. I hope I never forget that image. We took pictures outside the temple and then had a luncheon at the Joseph Smith Memorial building in the Wasatch Room. It was beautiful and SO fun! My in-laws did a program where they put the story of Talmage and I into a bunch of songs and my father in law sang/performed them. Talmage sang Can't Take My Eyes Off You (I Love You Baby) to me, with the help of everyone in the room. The whole thing was really interactive, hilarious, and so much fun. Not to mention the food was on point. The reception was at This is the Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake at the Brigham Young Farm House. The reception was held in the yard of this gorgeous, large, dreamy, pink farm house. I loved it so much. The decorations and everything turned out exactly how I wanted thanks to my sister in law's mom, Leslie who did all the work. Everything was so dreamy. I had all white decorations. Lace table cloths with as many flowers as possible to decorate the tables, lit with small candles. White antique lounge furniture. White tents streamed with bistro lights and chandeliers. It was simple, and exactly what I wanted. We had the Waffle Love truck there catering. I loved the fun it added to the atmosphere. The Egan's Brother Band played the whole time. Everyone had fun dancing and socializing. The best part of it was that I had everyone I loved in one place celebrating the best day. I'm so grateful to my parents and family who made everything possible and perfect, and I'm so grateful for the amazing family that I married in to. I couldn't ask for better in laws. The night was made even more perfect having all of my best girl-friends from college there (girls came from across the country to be there). My heart was so full that day. It was so special and so perfect. Marriage has filled a whole in me that I didn't know was there. I feel complete.
I'm an Egan!!
So I decided I'm going to start blogging again, solely for the purpose of keeping a journal.
I'm an Egan! I met Talmage on September 7th, 2014 at the singles ward. He asked me to borrow his pen. When he told me his name I new exactly who he was because one of my best friend's had been going on dates with him (and things weren't really going anywhere). We started chatting and he noticed a bracelet I was wearing that connected me to that friend he had been taking out. We ended up talking about Amy for a while and he will deny this but he got my number "just in case we needed to talk about Amy". We ended up flirting through text that night. I told my dad about Talmage and he encouraged me to "be bold". And bold I was. We went to family home evening the next night (only to see each other, obviously). We talked a lot of the night and I invited him over to watch the Taylor Swift documentary with me (woah). I left fhe, texted him when I started the movie, he called, came over and we chatted and cuddled for a while that night. (Don't worry he made sure to tell me that him coming over meant everything with my friend was out the window. Also, don't worry my friend gave me permission to go for him). We kissed that Thursday, went on our first date that Friday (to the state fair & sushi), saw each other every day possible after that. He said I love you on November 2nd, 2014. I said it back. Got engaged at the family Christmas Eve party at Talmage's grandma's on December 24th, 2014 and were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple May 28th, 2015. It was the best day of my life. Every day with him is the best day ever. He is perfect for me in every way and I am so incredibly grateful we found each other.

California
California was so much fun. I loved being able to have most of my family there (we missed those that weren't SO much). Friday and Saturday we went to Disneyland, it was so fun to see my two year old niece at Disneyland. The magic is real! Sunday we went to church and the beach, then Monday we had lunch at Downtown Disney and then headed back to Utah.
